When will I receive my Autograph Visa Card, and when can I start using it?

You’ll receive your Autograph Visa Card by early February 2026. Although it’s mailed early to ensure timely delivery, it can only be confirmed and used starting February 7, 2026. If you attempt to use the Autograph Visa Card before February 7, 2026, the transaction will be declined.

What is the timeline for this conversion?

Your new Autograph Visa Card will be delivered by early February 2026. You may confirm and begin to use your Autograph Visa Card on February 7, 2026.

What is the Autograph Visa Card?

The Autograph Visa Card is a Wells Fargo credit card offering unlimited 3X Wells Fargo pointsFootnote1 on restaurants, travel, gas stations, transit, popular streaming services, and phone plans. You’ll also receive 1X Wells Fargo pointsFootnote1 on other purchases.

Why do I need a new card?

As previously communicated by Bilt, Wells Fargo and Bilt are ending our partnership and Bilt is launching a new card program, Bilt 2.0, with a new banking partner. Because of this, your existing Bilt Mastercard account with Wells Fargo will be automatically converted to an Autograph Visa Card on February 7, 2026. For more information on your options to transition to a Bilt 2.0 Card, visit bilt.com.

What if I don’t want a new card?

Your existing Bilt Mastercard will automatically convert to a new Autograph Visa Card on February 7, 2026, whether or not you choose to obtain a new Bilt 2.0 Card.

If you have an outstanding balance on your current Bilt Mastercard account, it will transfer to your new Autograph Visa Card. You will still be required to make payments to Wells Fargo until the balance is paid off.

You can close your account at any time. If you do not wish to keep the Autograph Visa Card, please call 1-833-404-2272 after February 7, 2026 to close your Wells Fargo account.

How do I dispose of my existing Wells Fargo Bilt Mastercard?

A return envelope will be provided when the Autograph Visa Card arrives. You may place your existing Wells Fargo Bilt Mastercard into the envelope and return it to us for destruction.

Will I have a new account number on my Wells Fargo Autograph Visa Card?

Yes, upon conversion to your new Wells Fargo Autograph Visa Card, you’ll have a new card account number, security code (the three-digit number on the back of your card), and expiration date.Footnote4 If you obtain a Bilt 2.0 Card, please visit bilt.com for more information on your Bilt 2.0 Card number.

What will happen to my Bilt Rewards?

This change will not impact your Bilt membership, points balance, or how you access Bilt Rewards, subject to Bilt’s Terms and Conditions. For more information on your options to transition to a Bilt 2.0 Card, visit bilt.com.

Can I pay rent with the Autograph Visa Card?

Yes, if credit cards are accepted. Please note that you may be charged a transaction fee if you choose to pay rent with the Autograph Visa Card via Bilt, or directly with your rental provider.

Will switching to the Autograph Visa Card affect my credit score or credit history?

The conversion itself won’t negatively impact your credit score. Your account age and credit history from your existing Wells Fargo Bilt Mastercard will carry over. However, closing your account may affect your score.

My new card hasn’t arrived yet. Should I be concerned?

Your new Autograph Visa Card will arrive by February 6, 2026. If you haven’t received your new card by then, call the number on the back of your existing Wells Fargo Bilt Mastercard.

Will account alerts set up on my existing Wells Fargo Bilt Mastercard transfer over to my new Autograph Visa Card account?

Yes, your alertsFootnote5 will transfer to your new Autograph Visa Card account.

What if I have an open claim for a benefit on my current Bilt Mastercard?

Open claims for current benefits will be processed through to completion. Please contact the benefit provider if you have any questions regarding your claim.

What if I need to submit a claim for an eligible purchase made prior to February 7, 2026?

Claims for purchases made prior to February 7, 2026 (11:59 p.m. Eastern Time) with your current Bilt Mastercard should be submitted according to the terms in your current Mastercard Guide to Benefits. For questions about submitting a claim, please call 1-800-316-8051.

Will my card be a Visa or Mastercard?

The new card will be a Visa, not a Mastercard.

Will I need to confirm my new Autograph Visa Card?

Yes, you will need to confirm your Autograph Visa Card, but it cannot be confirmed and subsequently used until February 7, 2026. Your card mailer will have instructions on how to confirm.

Will I still have access to the Bilt Rewards program?

This change will not impact your Bilt membership, points balance, or how you access Bilt Rewards, subject to Bilt’s Terms and Conditions. However, you will no longer be able to access your Wells Fargo account from Bilt’s app or website, and will instead manage your Autograph Visa Card directly through Wells Fargo. How do I close my existing Wells Fargo Bilt Mastercard account?

You can close your Wells Fargo account at any time by calling 1-833-404-2272. Please note, if you are planning to sign up for the Bilt 2.0 Card, closing your Bilt Mastercard ahead of February 7, 2026 may impact your experience.

Will I still be able to view my Bilt Mastercard transaction history?

Yes, all transactions made prior to February 7, 2026 on your existing Bilt Mastercard will carry over to your new Autograph Visa Card account once it is converted and will be reflected on your Autograph Visa Card statement.

Do I need to request a new PIN for cash advances?

Yes, you will need to request a new PIN that will be assigned to your new Autograph Visa Card.

If my account is closed, how do I make payments?

You can make payments by calling the number on the back of your card. You will continue to receive monthly statements, and you can use any method listed on the monthly statements to make payments. You can also send your payments (please include your account number on your check) by mail to the following addresses:

What if I don’t want to be converted to an Autograph Visa Card and close my account. Will this affect my credit bureau score?

There are several factors on which your credit score is based. We cannot determine what impact, if any, this change will have on your report or score.

Can I move some or all of my credit limit to another eligible Wells Fargo credit card?

After February 7, 2026 you may initiate a credit line reallocation by calling 1-866-229-6633.

When will coverage end for the benefits on my current Bilt World Elite Mastercard?

Coverage for current Bilt World Elite Mastercard benefits will be effective through February 6, 2026 (11:59 p.m. Eastern Time) or until you close your account, whichever comes first.

What if I need to submit a claim for an eligible purchase made prior to closing my account or the conversion date on February 7, 2026?

Claims for purchases made with your Bilt World Elite Mastercard prior to the date you closed your Bilt account or converted to the Wells Fargo Autograph Visa Card on February 7, 2026 should be submitted according to the terms in your current Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card Guide to Benefits. What if I have an open claim for a benefit on my current Bilt World Elite Mastercard?

Will my Wells Fargo online banking access change?

No, your Wells Fargo online banking access will remain the same. 

Will my APR or fees change with the new Wells Fargo Autograph Visa Card?

No, the APR and fees on your Wells Fargo Autograph Visa Card will remain the same as your current Wells Fargo issued Bilt Mastercard.Footnote3 If you wish to see your options to transition to a Bilt 2.0 Card, including APRs or fees associated with those cards, visit bilt.com.

What happens to recurring payments I established with other merchants?

If you would like any existing merchant charges (e.g., recurring payments or subscriptions) to be charged to your new Autograph Visa Card, you will need to update the card number on file with those merchants with your new Autograph Visa Card details. Failure to do so may result in failed transactions with those merchants.

Will my digital wallet (Apple Pay®, Google Pay™, or Samsung Pay) need to be updated?

You will need to update your digital walletFootnote16 with the new Autograph Visa Card details if you’d like to move transactions to this new card. Go to Wells Fargo’s Digital Wallets page and select the mobile wallet you’d like to use. Then follow the directions to add and confirm your card in that mobile wallet.

What happens to my outstanding balance if I close my account?

If your account has an outstanding balance on February 6, 2026, the account and outstanding balance will transfer to your new Autograph Visa Card. You will need to repay any outstanding balance according to the terms of the Autograph Visa Card. If you are considering transferring the current balance on your card to the Bilt 2.0 Card, visit bilt.com for more information.

What if I have issues confirming my Autograph Visa Card?

The Autograph Visa Card can be confirmed starting February 7, 2026. You may confirm your card at wellsfargo.com/confirm. If you have issues confirming the card after this date, please contact Wells Fargo customer service.

Can I choose a different Wells Fargo card instead of the Autograph Visa Card?

No, this conversion only applies to the Autograph Visa Card. You may apply separately for other Wells Fargo cards.

Will there be any downtime in my Wells Fargo online account access?

Your existing Wells Fargo Bilt Mastercard account can be accessed through Wells Fargo online banking or the mobile app until February 5, 2026. Your Wells Fargo Autograph Visa Card will be available after you confirm your card on February 7, 2026. Your online account for your Autograph Visa Card will be available within 24 to 48 hours after February 7, 2026. Why am I receiving another Autograph Visa Card if I already have one, and can I combine the accounts?

You’re receiving a second Autograph Visa Card because your existing Bilt Mastercard is being converted to an Autograph Visa Card. Each card is a separate account with its own credit line, statement, and due date. These accounts cannot be combined.

How do I manage two Autograph Visa Cards, and are the benefits and rewards the same?

You can manage both cards through Wells Fargo online banking or the mobile app, where each will appear as a separate account. Rewards from both cards cannot be combined for redemption through the rewards portal.

  1. Three rewards points (1 base point plus 2 bonus points) are earned per $1 spent on net purchases (purchases minus returns/credits) at retailers whose Visa® merchant code is classified as: Travel: airline, hotel/motel, timeshare, or vehicle/auto rental, cruise lines, travel agencies, discount travel sites, campgrounds. Transit: passenger railway, taxis, limousines, ferries, toll bridges and highways, parking lots and garages. Gas: gas stations, automated fuel dispensers, and electric vehicle charging stations. Dining: eating places and restaurants, drinking places, fast food restaurants, and/or caterers. Phone plans: landline and cell phone providers considered telecommunication services. Popular streaming services: cable and other pay television, digital goods, books, movies, music, and continuity/subscription services, as listed at: wellsfargo.com/autographstreaming. Other purchases: 1 rewards point will be earned per $1 spent on other net purchases. Cash equivalents do not earn points. For a detailed list of cash equivalent exclusions and merchant examples that may not be billed under the VISA category codes listed above refer to the Summary of the Wells Fargo Rewards® Program Terms and Conditions and the Wells Fargo Autograph Visa® Card Addendum for details.
  2. Rewards redeemed as a credit to a qualified Wells Fargo mortgage, loan, or credit product are applied toward your principal balance. You must still make regularly scheduled payments.
  3. Refer to the terms and conditions previously disclosed for your account.
  4. Update your new card account number, security code, and expiration date with companies that charge your credit card automatically.
  5. Sign-up may be required. Availability may be affected by your mobile carrier’s coverage area. Your mobile carrier’s message and data rates may apply.
  6. Pay with Rewards (“PWR”) feature allows you to redeem your available Wells Fargo Rewards® (“rewards”) online through participating PWR merchants toward qualifying purchase transactions with your eligible Wells Fargo credit card (“card”) account. To be eligible for PWR feature, cardholders must first verify the PWR sharing preference setting is enabled. This preference can be set at any time by going to Pay with Rewards Preferences at https://connect.secure.wellsfargo.com/auth/login/rewards?landingPage=SECURED_SITE_PAYWITHREWARDS_SHARING_PREFERENCES. When your PWR sharing preference is enabled, all cardholders who use and have access to your card, including authorized users on your card, will be able to view and redeem the rewards associated with that card through the PWR feature when the card is provided by you or your authorized users to a PWR merchant. Rewards are not earned on any portion of a transaction redeemed through the PWR feature. Transactions qualifying as eligible for PWR redemption may change at any time and without notice. Rewards redeemed through PWR will be deducted from your rewards account balance immediately and all PWR redemptions are subject to the Return/Cancellation Policy of the merchant. Refer to the Wells Fargo Rewards® Program Terms and Conditions and Addendum for the Wells Fargo Autograph℠ Card at https://consumercard.wellsfargorewards.com/#/tnc, the participating PWR merchant User Agreement, and the Summary of the Wells Fargo Rewards® Program Terms and Conditions and the Wells Fargo Autograph Visa® Card Addendum for more details.
  7. Redeem for Purchases allows you to redeem your Wells Fargo Rewards online for a statement credit to your eligible Wells Fargo credit card account. To be eligible for Redeem for Purchases, transactions must be $1 or more and you must have enough rewards to redeem for the entire amount of the transaction. Statement credits are applied to your outstanding balance and you are still required to make any payment due on your account. Rewards redeemed for purchases will be deducted from your rewards account balance immediately and all rewards redemptions are final. Statement credits will post to your account in 5 – 7 business days. Redeem for Purchases is offered subject to the Wells Fargo Rewards Program Terms and Conditions and the Addendum applicable to your card. For additional details visit https://consumercard.wellsfargorewards.com/#/tnc, and select your card from the drop down. Select “+ Redeeming Rewards” and navigate to the Redeem for Purchases section.
  8. Rewards points transfer allows you to redeem your Wells Fargo Rewards points to transfer as miles, points or credits to participating partner loyalty transfer programs (each a “Participating Transfer Partner”). Rewards points transfer redemption options are only eligible for Wells Fargo Credit Cards with points and are only offered as an online redemption option. Once you transfer your points, the Participating Transfer Partner program’s terms and conditions will apply. While Wells Fargo has a relationship with Participating Transfer Partners, we do not operate their site or program terms and conditions. Wells Fargo disclaims liability or responsibility for Participating Transfer Partners’ changes to their program that may impact points once transfer is completed. All rewards points transfer redemptions are final. You can find a current listing of Participating Transfer Partners on the Rewards Points Transfer page. Rewards points transfer is offered subject to the Summary of the Wells Fargo Rewards® Program Terms and Conditions and the Wells Fargo Autograph Visa® Card Addendum.
  9. Cellular Telephone Protection can reimburse the eligible Wells Fargo Consumer Credit Card cardholder for damage to, theft of, or involuntary and accidental parting of a cell phone. Reimbursement is limited to the cost to repair or replace your original cell phone, less a $25 deductible with an allowable maximum of two paid claims per 12-month period. Each approved claim has a benefit limit of $600. This benefit does not cover cell phones that are lost (i.e., mysteriously disappear). Electronic failure or issues related to the software of the device are not covered. This protection is only available when cell phone bills are paid with an eligible Wells Fargo Consumer Credit Card. Coverage begins the first day of the calendar month following the payment of your first cell phone billing using your eligible Wells Fargo Consumer Credit Card and remains in effect when you continue to charge your total monthly cell phone bill to your Wells Fargo Consumer Credit Card. Eligible cell phones are the lines listed on your most recent cellular wireless service provider’s monthly billing statement for the billing cycle prior to when the incident occurred. This is supplemental coverage not otherwise covered by another insurance policy, may be applied after all other insurance is exhausted and may not be equivalent to or better than other applicable coverage. This benefit is included as a part of your eligible Wells Fargo Consumer Credit Card and is underwritten by Virginia Surety Company, Inc. For complete coverage benefits and exclusions regarding this protection, call 1‑800‑316‑8051, 8 a.m. to midnight Eastern Time, seven days a week, or refer to the Guide to Benefits at wellsfargo.com/autographbenefits.

    Note:
    Call your cellular provider (or sign on to their website) and request to set up automatic payments. Setting up automatic payments is not required to qualify for Cellular Telephone Protection; however, you need to pay your monthly cell phone bill with your eligible Wells Fargo Consumer Credit Card to get up to $600 protection.
  10. Coverage provided by this benefit is secondary. In order for coverage to apply, you must pay for all of the cost to rent the car with your eligible Wells Fargo Autograph Visa® Credit Card and/or rewards program associated with your covered account. Cardholder must decline coverage from the rental company to be eligible for this benefit. Certain vehicles are not covered. A maximum benefit amount and certain restrictions and limitations apply. This benefit is included as a part of your Wells Fargo Autograph Visa® Credit Card and is underwritten by Virginia Surety Company, Inc.   11. Travel and Emergency Assistance Services provide assistance and referral only. Cardholder is responsible for the cost of any actual medical, legal, transportation, cash advance, or other services or goods provided. Certain restrictions and limitations apply. This benefit is included as a part of your eligible Wells Fargo Consumer Credit Card and is provided by Virginia Surety Company, Inc.   12. Current fee for a standard service call will be confirmed at the time service is requested. Rates apply to vehicles up to 10,000 pounds gross vehicle weight only. Cardholders are required to pay the service provider for mileage over five miles. Emergency roadside assistance and towing may not be available in all areas. The roadside assistance and towing service provider is solely responsible for any liability associated with use of roadside dispatch services. Certain restrictions and limitations apply.   13. Visa credit cardholders can get an emergency cash advance disbursed or a card replaced within one to three business days, in some cases, within 24 hours, after issuer approval. Any cash advance fees and interest charges that are associated with your credit card account will apply. If you need to replace your card or want help with receiving emergency cash, contact the Visa Global Customer Care Services at 1‑800‑708‑8217 or when calling from outside the U.S. or Canada, call the Visa direct line at 1‑303‑967‑1096, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.   14. Autograph cardholders are responsible for the payment of any and all charges associated with any goods, services, reservations, or bookings purchased or arranged by the Visa Signature Concierge on cardholders’ behalf. Any such purchases or arrangements are solely between the cardholder and the respective merchant, and Visa is not a party to the transaction. All goods and services are subject to availability. Refer to the full terms of service at the Visa Concierge Terms of Service at visasignatureconcierge.com.
  15. Some Restrictions and Limitations may apply. In cases where one of the benefits is not available at a hotel, the hotel may provide a substitute benefit of equal value. Some hotels may provide one of the benefits as a standard feature of the room being booked. In those cases, the hotel may or may not provide a substitute benefit of equal value. Resort fees that cover any of the benefits are not reimbursable. Reservations must be booked either on a Visa Luxury Hotel Collection website or through Visa Concierge for benefits to apply.
